The Process
Step 1:
After your initial enquiry our arboricultural consultant will arrange a convenient time to come and visit the site, listen to your requirements and discuss the job in detail. After this consultation you will receive a written quotation and we can also send you a copy of our Public Liability Insurance, Method Statements and customer references, if required.
Your quotation will outline the details of the work agreed during the initial consultation and it is indentified by a unique job reference number. It will also show the total cost required after job completion. This free quotation ensures that Heartwood Tree Surgeons Limited fully understands your requirements and that you are aware of the timescale and requirements involved in completing the work, as well as the total cost of the work that will be required on completion of the job.
Step 2:
Upon acceptance of our quotation we will contact you to confirm a mutually agreeable date for commencing the job. On arrival a representative from our company will discuss with you the exact process for completion of the quoted tree work and confirm the exact type of tree work that will be carried out.
Our work will be carried out to British Standard 3998: 1989 Recommendations for tree work which is a guideline produced by the British Standards Institute and is intended for use in arboriculture.
Following these guidelines ensures that the job will be completed to the highest standard by our NPTC trained and fully qualified employees.
Heartwood Tree Surgeons Limited operate a 26 metre access platform for which we carry Lantra operator qualifications along with all relevant NPTC qualifications. All of our climbing, lowering and access equipment is inspected in accordance with LOLOR: - Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 and all of our work equipment is inspected and maintained in accordance with PUWER: - Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998.
We can provide full method statements prior to commencement of works and a copy of our site specific risk assessment upon completion.
Unless otherwise agreed in your quotation all arisings will be removed from site and recycled in an environmentally responsible manner.
Step 3:
On completion of the job a detailed invoice will be posted to you.
